The Advisory Council meets on the 2nd Friday of every month from Noon to 2:00 p.m. in the Seattle Municipal Tower, Room 4060. All meetings are open to the public. The monthly agenda is available on the calendar below. Please confirm the time and location of the meeting before attending.

- Statewide Gathering of Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) Advisory Councils and the State Council on Aging (SCOA)
- Location: Tukwila Community Center
- Time: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- All members of the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Councils and the State Council on Aging are invited to this annual opportunity to meet one another and share accomplishments and visions. Information on national health care reform and its implications for Washington State and our current long term care system will be shared. Afternoon workshops will build on this theme. The day ends with a discussion of shared priorities for the upcoming legislative session. This event is free to all AAA Advisory Council members and SCOA members. AAA Advisory Council members should contact your local AAA to register.

- Annual conference sponsored by the Washington State Senior Citizens Lobby. This year the focus of the conference will cover topics such as: Health Care Implementation, Medicare, State Budget Issues and Initiatives. The agenda will include several well known speakers and morning and afternoon forums.
