In 2002, Beacon Hill Village in Boston launched a movement to support neighbors to grow older in the homes and neighborhoods they love. In honor of Beacon Hill Village’s 15th anniversary this year, Dr. Atul Gawande, whose celebrated 2014 book Being Mortal continues to sustain a lively conversation about living well in older age, will speak to villages nationwide about the importance of community and choice as we grow older.

The program will be simulcast nationally to villages across country, with thousands of members participating in a virtual celebration and dialogue about living well.
