Do you want to learn more about what options are available to care for yourself or loved ones due to aging, illness, or disability?

Join presenters from the WA Cares Fund and Hand in Hand-The Domestic Employers Network, for an information session about different aspects of long-term care.

This session can help support you if you are: currently caring for loved ones, do/will employ caregivers for yourself or family members, planning for your future, or just want to better understand the new long-term care benefit, which you may already be contributing to through your paycheck.

The Basics of Long Term Care in WA 

Thursday, March 14th from 4:00 pm – 5:15 pm PST 

The webinar will cover:

  • What long-term care includes
  • How caregiving responsibilities impact families and the workplace
  • How the WA Cares Fund can help
  • Who contributes to the fund
  • How exemptions work
  • How workers will meet contribution requirements, including a pathway for near-retirees
  • What benefits will be available
  • Tips for hiring and employing a care worker in your home

There will also be an opportunity for audience Q&A. Live captioning and ASL interpretation will be available.
