Join AARP Washington,  Northwest African American Museum (NAAM), Mayor’s Council on African American Elders, and Aging and Disability Services at this two-hour online (Zoom) event honoring grandparents. “Love & Community—The Ties That Bind” is open to grandparents and other older adults as well as their families.

Keynote speaker Alesia Cannady, Women United CEO and Founder and a kinship caregiver, will focus on the importance of social and community connections. Other components of the Zoom event will be entertaining and interactive.
