The Mayor’s Council on African American Elders and Northwest African American Museum are planning a celebration in honor of grandparents! Join in celebrating national Grandparents Day with a fun-filled family day at the museum. Co-sponsors include AARP Washington and Mayor’s Council on African American Elders. This event is free and open to the public, and will include artist-led tours of our galleries, a program honoring grandparents, and family-fun activities for the entire family.
