According to Dr. Thomas J. Grabowski, Jr., Director of the UW Memory and Brain Wellness Center, “researchers have reached a consensus that eating habits leave indelible, long-lasting marks on the health of our bodies, and our brains. In fact, eating certain foods on a regular basis can substantially slow cognitive decline and the advance of dementia.”

This show presents health-supporting recipes with fascinating art created by people living with memory loss and dementia. Their paintings invite us to see through their eyes as they transform them into images of wonder. Presented by the Art of Alzheimer’s at the A/NT Gallery, a non-profit artists’ collective.
