Aging In Place: Virtual Villages

Published by: aaron

Join us for a program on virtual villages and an opportunity to hear from representatives from four Seattle-area villages. Registration is required.

Our virtual villages program is the first in a series of three programs about housing options that promote aging in place. A virtual village is not a place. Rather, it is a set of resources which enable you to remain where you want to live, more comfortably, for as long as possible. Villages help individuals build community, connect with others, and access information and resources, including help from volunteers.

Panelists: Nancy Nordquist, board member and volunteer, NEST; Sandy Moy, Board President, Northwest Neighbors; Riana Nolet, Director, PNA Village; Denise Klein, Executive Director, Wider Horizons Village; and Sue Lerner, founding member of, Wider Horizons Village.

This event will have live Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) captioning.
