Join Mariko Lockhart, Director of the Seattle Office for Civil Rights (SOCR), to learn more about the SOCR’s work to advance civil rights and end barriers to equity. Mariko will talk about how SOCR enforces laws against discrimination, including what kinds of protections exist in Seattle and how people can file complaints with the office. She will also share information about SOCR’s Race and Social Justice Initiative, a citywide effort to end institutional racism in City government and to achieve racial equity across our community.
