What is Alzheimer’s disease, how is it diagnosed, and what treatments are available? How do I know the difference between normal changes in memory that occur with aging, and Alzheimer’s? Is there a cure on the horizon?
What are the policy implications for us as we consider the long term care needs for a huge generation of baby boomers at risk of developing Alzheimer’s or a related disorder?
Joanne Maher, Alzheimer’s Association programs and services director, will provide an overview of Alzheimer’s disease, and the challenges that lie ahead.
